About
You may be wondering why a television set would hate anyone. Remember that big game when you spent the entire time screaming at it? How about those nights when you fell asleep but neglected to turn it off? And do we really need to remind you about the hours spent channel surfing? Let’s face it, we may love our TVs but we work them too hard for the feeling to be mutual. MyTVHatesMe. It’s an unusual name for an out-of-the ordinary online magazine.
We began MyTVHatesMe for the television viewer who wants to go behind the scenes, meet the actors and show runners from their favorite series and find out what’s to come in an ever-changing industry. It’s conversations with Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and James Roday. It’s episodic reviews of “United States of Tara” and “24.” It’s features on “Lie to Me” creator Samuel Baum and “Superstars of Dance” executive producer Nigel Lithgoe.
We know that television viewers enthusiastically share an interest in storylines, how a series goes from concept to screen and what drives the people behind it. So we took that same passion and translated it into a combination of high-quality journalism and eye-catching design. The result is a new online magazine that captures the television industry like never before.
We encourage you to look around. If you like what you see, and would like to receive regular updates, subscribe to the MyTVHatesMe newsletter or simply bookmark the site and check back often.
